  EXCITING FEATURES
WHAT DOES THIS SITE OFFER?
Welcome to Ankarino.com. Below, I've included a number of picture galleries for your perusal. Now, I must warn you before yuo go any further: many of the images that appear on this site are not for younger viewers. Likewise, many of the pictures were taken and posted without the explicit consent of the subjects. Thoroughly check out the available spreads, as I know that you'll a find a few to your liking (and I'm certain that you'll find more than one of them profoundly offensive.) As the Vicar once exclaimed (from the timeless play, The Beard), "Yes Jeremiah, there is something unclean in your woodshed." Enjoy, and feel free to send me feedback by email.

  ANKARINO LARA FOR ZDNET MUSIC
CONTRIBUTIONS TO ZDNET MUSIC
Before moving back into the GameSpot fold, I worked for some 10 months on the ZDNet Music site as the Senior Editor. In this position I had the fortunate opportunity to write and post articles about the state of the industry, the pros and cons of Napster, and of course, the moral implications of file-sharing. As CNET Networks purchased ZDNet in 2000, the decision was made to cease production of editorial content focused on digital music. Thus, they turned off our site. However, before they pulled the plug, I managed to grab most of my stories. A sample are included in the links below.

  FRANK BOURBON FOR ZDNET MUSIC
THE EPITOME OF RENEGADE JOURNALISM
Frank Bourbon is a real dirt bag. Working as a freelancer from his home in Diamond Bar, Frank has made sizable contributions to the world of digital music journalism. He wasn't always a gumshoe reporter though, no sir! His life dream was to become a high ranking official in the United States Army. In fact, he was well on his way to this end when he was discharged from the service because of "paralysis of Flexon muscles in his right leg with atrophy of a portion of the hip joint muscles, thus causing lameness segrrela resulting from typhoid fever."

After many hours of muscular rehabilitation, Frank sought a new career chasing down late-breaking stories. In his new profession, he's traveled to such far off locations as New York and San Diego to nab the hottest scoops on the latest trends. And then ZDNet Music went under. Although now without a job and emotionally dejected, Frank is still on the up and up. The word on the street though, is that he may be picked up by a renegade department within GameSpot and continue his avant guard reporting. Until then, here are his most controversial editorial pieces to date.
